Principalement, avec le kit Pierobon par rapport à une SSie normale, on trouve un angle de chasse réduit à 23° au lieu de 24°, un empattement reduit de 25mm, avec un bras oscillant modifié (rallongé et rigidifié), une centralisation des masses et un poids reduit à 147kg.

The "F042" Components:

Frame
Tubular frame in aluminium alloy 7020 high resistance. The constructive simplicity united to a consolidated experience and to extreme technology they make this frame to the vanguard of the Motorcycle sector. Traditionally, Ducati have a frame in steel pipes, this is in aluminium alloy, EN AW-7020 joining mechanical characteristics of torsional resistance to a contained weight and a better handling in the narrow track. weight 13.5 lbs. (6.12 kg).

Swingarm
In EN AW-6082 aluminium result from the standard one. To improve the characteristics it is lengthened and strengthened with opportune handkerchiefs. The assembly is on big diameter bearings with the same concept used for the Racing swing arm to increase the Feeling and the traction.

Rear Frame
EN AW-6082 aluminium Alloy, drawn and built in pipe aluminium and plate. This frame achieves the lightness of the part. It has been conceived to allow a flexibility assembly. Besides it is easily adaptable to different solutions of tails.

Front Sub Frame
In EN AW-6082 aluminium, it is light and functional. Directly from Racing experience since 998 models. It allows to assemble both analogic and digital instrumentations.

Exhaust
In stainless steel. The simple line, the solution 2 in 1, integrates so as effective with the motorcycle shape. By the tests on bench has been improved the efficiency for the 2 valves engines since the lower rpm. Made by HPE.

Handlebars
Handlebar 51,0/53,0/53,5 mm. Anodized aluminium EN AW 7075 o 6082. With a wide range of angle possibility it is possible to adjust to several uses.

Rear Body Panel
Made of glass-reinforced fibers, it is modeled on the bike, with a "wind" designed shape.

Fuel Tank
An Hand made mater piece, made in aluminium alloy 450 (EN AW-5083) H111. The capacity is 16 liters, maintaining at the same time a big volume to lodge a big airbox. It is designed on the bike to make the driver assume a perfect driving positioning and give a sensational beautiful handling.

Front Body Panel
Made of glass-reinforced fibers, it light and fashion. It is integrated with the other fairing parts to obtain a general sober aspect. It is dimensioned to contain the liquid eventually loss from engine due to any happens, in conformity with main international race rules.

Rear Stand
It in aluminium EN AW 6082 alloy, designed expressly for the equipped swing arm.

Front Stand
The new and groundbreaking Pierobon Front stand. Purpose built to let an easily accessibility to the front wheel equipments (pin, brake, etc.).

Rearsets
Made in EN AW-6082 aluminium alloy has bronze bushings. Light and efficient are characterised by the well detailed design.
